Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Abdulkadir Kılavuz (address: Vali Rahmi Bey Mah., Menderes Cad. No:55 D:4, Buca, İzmir, Türkiye, email info@petliq.com), the individual developer of Petliq. By using the app you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you and is responsible for your use of the app.

3. Early access

Petliq is in early access. Features, game balance and rules may change, and the service may be interrupted while we test. We work to keep your progress, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors. Serial numbers are never reissued, whatever changes.

4. Virtual pets, items and coins

Virtual items and pets in the app are a limited, non-transferable licence to use; they confer no ownership and have no real-money value.

• Each pet's serial number is unique to its breed and is never issued again.
• Coins can't be exchanged for money and can't be moved outside the game.
• Nothing paid in the game has random contents: you always see exactly what you get before you get it.
• There are currently no paid purchases. If we add them, they will be sold through the App Store or Google Play, the price will be shown first, and your statutory consumer rights and the store's refund rules will apply.

5. Your account

Your account is created automatically and is currently tied to the device you play on. Keep your device secure. You can delete your account at any time (how).

6. Fair play

• No cheating, bots, automation, or exploiting bugs. Report bugs to us instead.
• No creating multiple accounts to collect extra rewards.
• No selling, buying or trading accounts, pets, items or coins for real money.
• No offensive, hateful or misleading pet names. We may reset a name that breaks this rule.
• Don't attack, overload or reverse-engineer our servers.

If you break these rules we may warn you, reset affected items, or suspend or close your account. Except where urgent, we will tell you why first and you can reply.

7. Your licence to the app

We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app. The app, its art, characters and code belong to the developer.

8. Liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of virtual items caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. App Store users

If you downloaded Petliq from Apple's App Store, these terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app and is not responsible for claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You also agree to the App Store's usage rules.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts. Consumers in Türkiye may also apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts. Please write to us first; most problems can be solved by email.

11. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you in the app before they apply; if you don't agree you can stop playing and delete your account. You can stop using Petliq at any time. If we ever shut Petliq down, we will announce it in the app at least 30 days in advance.
