Privacy Policy
What we collect when you play Petliq, why, how long we keep it, and how to use your rights wherever you live.

1. Who we are
Petliq is made by Abdulkadir Kılavuz, an individual developer and the controller of your personal data (address: Vali Rahmi Bey Mah., Menderes Cad. No:55 D:4, Buca, İzmir, Türkiye). Contact for anything in this policy: info@petliq.com.
This policy covers the Petliq app for iOS and Android and the website petliq.com.
2. The short version
- You don't give us your name, email, phone number or location to play.
- No ads, no advertising or analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites.
- We don't sell or share your personal data.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time.
3. What we process, why, and for how long

The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Pages are delivered by our server, which does not keep access logs for the website.
4. Legal bases
- Contract (GDPR/UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)): account, sessions and game records, because you can't play without them.
- Legitimate interests (GDPR/UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)): security logs, abuse prevention and understanding whether players return. You can object at any time (section 9).
- Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c); KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç)) where a law requires us to keep or disclose data.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
5. Who else handles your data
- DigitalOcean, LLC, our hosting provider. Servers and backups are located in Amsterdam, Netherlands (EU).
- Natro (Turkey), which hosts our email inbox, if you write to us.
- Apple and Google distribute the app. They process data about your download under their own privacy policies.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Your data is stored in the European Union and accessed by the developer from Turkey. Where data leaves the country it was collected in, we rely on the safeguards the applicable law requires, such as standard contractual clauses under GDPR Art. 46 and the standard contracts required by KVKK Art. 9. Contact us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.
7. Children
Petliq is not directed at children under 13, and they may not use it. If you are under the age at which you can agree to these terms in your country, a parent or guardian must agree for you. If we learn that we hold data of a child under 13, we delete it. Parents can contact us at info@petliq.com.
8. Deleting your account
In the app: Profile → “Delete my account”. Or follow these steps. Your player name, device identifiers and sessions are deleted at once. The game ledger and serial numbers stay so that no item can ever be issued twice, but they no longer point to you. Backups that still contain the account are deleted within 14 days.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can:
- access your data and get a copy in a portable format;
- correct it, delete it, or restrict how it is used;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- in California and other US states with privacy laws: know, delete and correct your data, and not be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information;
- in Turkey: use the rights in KVKK Art. 11, including learning whether your data is processed;
- complain to a data protection authority, for example your local EU supervisory authority, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
Email info@petliq.com with your player name. We reply within 30 days and may ask for details to confirm the account is yours.
10. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). The game server reaches the database through a restricted role that cannot rewrite balances or delete history. Server access is limited to key-based logins. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply.
